We are early-stage investors in information and technology related businesses looking for world changing technologies and new applications of old technology.  Because our investments are world changing, we love to see entrepreneurs that have a global view and a global plan off the bat.  We welcome teams of hackers, technologists and nerds – mainly because we have lots in common!  Also welcome are pre-revenue startups as well as those with significant traction.  (And we have special interest in university entrepreneurs as well – we don’t care if you’re still in school).  We invest in technologies and we also invest in people; however, your team doesn’t need to be complete before you come to us.  We want to see entrepreneurs early and often and we love to see demos.  And don’t worry, we view demos with engineering/hacker eyes understanding the work that has gone into even the most unpolished of demos.

We typically want to be the first capital into an investment, because the early-stage is where we can add the most value and ensure the right structure from the beginning.  Our initial investment range is typically between $500k and $5M, but like all good investors we intend follow our investments over the full lifecycle of the company.
