Frequently, we are asked to give presentations a various university classes, conferences and events.  This is where the most requested presentations will be posted.  Please remember that there are several types of slide decks: some presentations are optimized for speaking and others are optimized for offline reference use -- these were all used to supplement lectures.

TieCon 2009
May 15, 2009

Berkeley EWMBA295a
2007-2009
This presentation was in request to give a talk about networking: specifically purpose driven networking where there is a result. For example, networking with VCs in order to get a meeting, or networking for a job. The talk focused on a simple means of effective purpose driven networking and was perhaps a timely discussion as many attendees fof TieCon 2009 were looking to transition into new jobs. It is also a common talk Michael gives to entrepreneurship student at Berkeley.  After students sacrifice blood, sweat and tears to complete their business plans, this is the lecture that drives home the point that the business plan may not matter if you can't get the meeting!
