Cocoon Ventures is a global venture firm leveraging novel venture models to launch startups with significant market advantage.  We are located in the Silicon Valley but work with international corporations to outsource their venture capital functions. For example, we are a Silicon Valley extension to Mitsubishi's Innovation Kitchen, an early-stage venture firm and incubator in Tokyo, Japan.  Our relationship allows us to take advantage of cross-border technology opportunities. 

Unlike many venture firms, we welcome pre-revenue companies and teams of hackers. Moreover, we are not limited by deal structure and are open to buying companies straight away, licensing / purchasing intellectual property, providing traditional venture capital, or embarking on a joint venture.
